Ayşegül Gündüz

Dr. Ayşegül Gündüz graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 2003 and completed her neurology residency there in 2008. She earned a master’s degree in Electroneurophysiology in 2013 and conducted research at the Guttmann Institute in Barcelona in 2013 and at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology in London in 2016. Since 2012, she has been working at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty.
Her primary interests are clinical neurophysiology, with a particular focus on brainstem neurophysiology, neuromodulation, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. She currently serves as Secretary of the Brainstem Special Interest Group of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN). She is also a board member of the Turkish Clinical Neurophysiology EEG-EMG Society and the Turkish Parkinson’s Disease Society. She serves as an Associate Editor of Clinical Neurophysiology.
