Dr. Igor Petrović is a neurologist and Associate Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He has been professionally affiliated with the Clinic of Neurology, Clinical Centre of Serbia, since 2006, where his clinical and academic work has focused particularly on movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin in neurology.
His professional training has included advanced education in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders at several European centres. He completed a three-month professional stay at the University Clinic in Kiel, Germany, as well as a one-year professional stay and clinical work at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, United Kingdom, supported by the Risto Bokonjić Foundation scholarship.
In parallel with his clinical work, Dr. Petrović has maintained an active academic and research profile. His scientific work includes more than 80 peer-reviewed full-text publications.
