Murat Kürtüncü

Prof. Dr. Murat Kürtüncü earned his MD from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He completed his neurology residency at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2003, conducting neurogenetics research on familial multiple sclerosis at the University of Cambridge. He pursued research and clinical work in the US at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Saint Louis University. A professor since 2018, he currently serves as Vice Dean, Department Head of Neurology at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and President of the Neuroimmunology Society.
