Natasa Cerovac

Natasa Cerovac graduated from the Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, Serbia in January 1990. She obtained a PhD in 2006 at the same Faculty in the field of neonatal neurology. She completed her specialisation in Neurology at University Clinical Center, Clinic for Neurology in Belgrade in 1997 and she finished her subspecialisation in Clinical Genetic in 2025. in Faculty of Medicine, too. She works at the Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry for Children and Youth from 1991-present and now she is the Head of the Department for Neurological Diseases and Neurosonology Unit. She is now Full Professor in Neurology from January 2023-present. Her current and previous research interests include neonatal and paediatric neurology, rare diseases and dealing with children with treatable neurological diseases. She is the member of the National Advisory Board for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) newborn screening in Serbia from September 2023-present. She is a member of the European Paediatric Neurology Society, Serbian Neurology Society and Serbian Association of Paediatric Neurology. She has more than 200 papers published including contribution in three books and 20 papers published in SCI journals.
